Skincare sourcing
Actives, moisturisers, cleansers, masks and sun protection, produced against a written specification — with the safety report, preservative efficacy testing and market notification arranged, because those are where cosmetic launches fail.
What we source

The compliance chain we assemble for you
- Formula assessment against the destination market's restrictions and concentration limits, including the annexes that change most often — preservatives, UV filters and retinoids.
- Preservative efficacy testing on the finished formula in the final packaging, per the applicable standard.
- Stability and compatibility testing covering real-time conditions for your market and climate, plus compatibility with the chosen pack.
- Cosmetic Product Safety Report and Product Information File prepared by a qualified safety assessor, with the technical documentation kept by the Responsible Person.
- Notification — CPNP for the EU, SCPN for Great Britain — before the product is placed on the market.
- Label compliance including INCI naming, allergen declaration, warnings, batch coding and the responsible-person address.
Skincare sourcing questions
What is required to sell skincare in the EU or UK?
A Responsible Person established in the market, a Cosmetic Product Safety Report prepared by a qualified safety assessor, a Product Information File, notification (CPNP in the EU, SCPN in Great Britain) and compliant labelling with the correct responsible-person address. These are legal duties, not optional quality steps, and the EU and UK are separate regimes.
How do sunscreen and SPF products differ?
Completely, by market. In the EU and UK sunscreen is a cosmetic; in the United States it is regulated as an over-the-counter drug under a monograph, which changes testing, packaging, claims and the route to market. Confirm the classification before formulating, because the permitted filter list differs too.
Do you arrange testing and safety assessments?
Yes — preservative efficacy testing, stability, compatibility and the safety report are arranged as part of the project, with accredited laboratories and qualified safety assessors. They are cost lines in the quote rather than hidden overheads, and you receive the reports.
Can a formula approved in Korea or the US be sold in the EU?
Not automatically. Permitted and restricted ingredients, concentration limits and labelling duties differ, and the EU restricts cosmetic ingredients more tightly in several areas. The formula has to be assessed against the destination market's annexes, which sometimes means reformulation — plan for that before tooling.

What happens next
- We confirm whether the specification is viable in your market and flag anything that is not.
- We come back with indicative pricing, MOQ and lead time from manufacturers we have assessed against the standard on this site.
- If you want to proceed, you order a paid sample from a production run.
- Only then does a production order and deposit make sense.
What we will not do
- Quote you on a product whose claims would not be legal in your market
- Pass on a certificate of analysis that is not batch-specific
- Take a payment for stock we have not verified
- Hide the manufacturer — you will know who makes your product
